Youth to Teen Yoga 2018 is Now a Regular Twice Weekly Session for Youth Ages 9-17

Join us for the first summer session that runs until the end of June. The second summer series runs from July 10 through August 2, 2018. Drop-ins are welcome for $12 each session, prorated fee for the summer series I and $79 for the summer series II.Now in our THIRD year offering area youth the opportunity to experience yoga during the most physically formative years.

Collierville Yoga Now Offers 2 regular weekly for your children ages 9-17. Classes are held each Tuesday and Thursday 4:25-5:25 pm. Each 60 minute session is facilitated by a certified RYT yoga instructor. Youth Sessions run on generally 8 week periods following the school schedule of classes in fall, winter and spring. We break during Fall Break, Christmas Break, and Spring Break. There will be a short break when school finishes for the summer and two weeks as school resumes in the fall. The twice weekly sessions follow the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga series, a traditional yoga asana (posture) practice developed and taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois and family in India and throughout the western world for 8 decades. The class requires a good attitude, discipline, and don’t forget the fun. There are many benefits beyond creating fit bodies forathletic and non-athletic youth! According to Psychology Today, The benefits include improving physical fitness and general health, reducing stress and anxiety, improving optimism, improving focus and school performance, improving self-esteem and body image, encouraging creativity, and developing discipline and self-regulation.
