Youth to Teen Yoga Fall 2018 is Open for Registration Ages 9-17

Join us for the fall series that runs September 4 to November 15, 2018. This series includes twice weekly sessions for 10 weeks (No class during school Fall break October 8-12). 20 sessions for 1 low price of $189.00! Drop-ins are welcome for $12 each session. This series will complete Collierville Yoga’s third year of offering yoga to youth and teens 9-17 in our area.

Classes are held each Tuesday and Thursday 4:25-5:25 pm. Each 60 minute session is facilitated by a certified RYT yoga instructor.

The twice weekly sessions follow the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga series, a traditional yoga asana (posture) practice developed and taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois and family in India and throughout the western world for 8 decades. The class requires a good attitude, discipline, and don’t forget the fun. There are many benefits beyond creating fit bodies forathletic and non-athletic youth! According to Psychology Today, The benefits include improving physical fitness and general health, reducing stress and anxiety, improving optimism, improving focus and school performance, improving self-esteem and body image, encouraging creativity, and developing discipline and self-regulation.
